Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlex Land is a Senior Online Game Engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable game platforms and data infrastructure, currently working on The Cycle: Frontier at YAGER in Berlin. He has deep experience at Riot Games across data platforms and competitive systems—contributing to real-time data pipelines, matchmaking and rating systems implemented in Golang, and client work in Unreal/C++. Early career roles at SAP and Appnovation sharpened his front-end and backend skills, and he continues to bridge big-data engineering with gameplay systems. Alex combines production-grade backend engineering with hands-on client and tooling work, and has a history of shipping user-focused projects like RenewPass and a club ladder web app that moved from class project to real-world use. Fluent in translating research and prototypes into operational systems, he brings both product sensibility and low-level performance awareness to competitive game engineering.
