Summary
👤
SeniorAlex M is a pragmatic engineering leader with 11+ years of experience building cloud-native and mobile-first products across telecommunications, retail, healthcare and finance, now leading App Engineering at The Telegraph. He combines hands-on multi-language development (Python, Java, Go, C#, Ruby, JavaScript) with enterprise architecture practices (TOGAF, AWS) to guide cross-functional teams from solution design through delivery. Alex has a track record of turning legacy monoliths into modern services and single-page apps, designing large-scale WiFi and provisioning platforms, and delivering high-impact healthcare billing systems that saved millions. Comfortable with both vendor-managed and in-house builds, he emphasizes stakeholder collaboration and “just in time” architecture to accelerate agile teams. Based in London, he’s a curious technologist who balances broad strategic thinking with practical engineering craftsmanship.
