Top SchoolAlex Moundalexis is a cloud-focused engineer with 12 years of experience currently contributing to Apple Cloud Services, where he describes his work as "planting seeds"—driving foundational improvements that scale. Based in the Washington DC–Baltimore area, he blends hands-on systems work with a pragmatic, experiment-forward mindset summarized by "I make things go. And break things in the process. For the right reasons." Beyond commercial cloud engineering, Alex has longstanding community and educational leadership as Stage Crew Director for Anne Arundel County Public Schools, teaching audio engineering and overseeing production for dozens of events annually. That mix of production-stage discipline and large-scale cloud work gives him a rare operational perspective: he understands both the reliability demands of consumer-facing services and the mentorship needed to grow technical skills in others. He holds a BS from RIT and an MS from Polytechnic Institute of NYU, grounding practical delivery in formal engineering training. Colleagues would describe him as a builder who favors durable, testable change over quick fixes and enjoys learning by breaking and fixing systems.
