Top SchoolAlex Pastel is a Senior Software Engineer with a decade of experience building web applications for the Department of Defense, combining pragmatic engineering with a strong security pedigree as an IAT Level II-certified member of the Navy's Cyber Security Workforce. Based in Littleton, Colorado, he excels at finding efficient solutions to complex problems and has a hands-on background from front-end web work to C++ vision software. At Moebius Solutions since 2010 he’s delivered mission-focused systems while maintaining curiosity-driven hobby projects—Android custom ROMs, bootloaders, and Raspberry Pi security and retro-arcade builds—that keep his low-level and embedded skills sharp. He pairs formal Computer Science training from UC San Diego with practical tutoring and webmaster experience, reflecting both technical depth and a knack for translating requirements into usable systems. Notable for blending defense-focused software delivery with personal projects that explore security and hardware-software integration, he brings reliable, security-minded engineering to every engagement.
