Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlex Pearson is a seasoned software leader with 11 years of experience who currently heads Platform and Infrastructure at Flex, after scaling platform teams as Lead Software Engineer and earlier co-founding and serving as CTO at Platter. He combines hands-on full-stack engineering—modern front-end frameworks, microservices, and infrastructure—with product-facing work that helps small business owners run fintech operations. Alex has a history of building teams and curricula (as a bootcamp director and lead instructor) and growing startups from zero to scale, demonstrating both technical depth and operational instincts. His background founding and running businesses, from a CrossFit gym to a nonprofit, gives him uncommon empathy for end users and operators. Based in Knoxville, TN, he focuses on reliable, scalable systems that bridge developer productivity and customer-facing value. He is as comfortable shipping code as he is designing developer workflows and platform abstractions that accelerate product teams.
