Top SchoolAlex Shevchenko is a seasoned DevOps and cloud engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and hardening scalable infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure. He specializes in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Terragrunt/Pulumi), CI/CD optimization, and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes on cloud and bare metal), complemented by Python automation for tooling and data tasks. Alex has built high-throughput Kafka streaming architectures, automated database schema migrations with Liquibase, and implemented least-privilege security controls and MFA across complex environments. Comfortable across databases from MySQL and PostgreSQL to Redshift, BigQuery and Snowflake, he combines platform engineering depth with pragmatic scripting in Bash, PowerShell and Python. Based in San Francisco and holding an MEng, he brings a track record of turning complex, multi-cloud requirements into auditable, production-ready systems while often operating as the bridge between infra, data and ML teams.
