Top SchoolAlex Sobakar is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building and scaling full-stack systems, currently focused on UI-rich internal platforms and reliability tooling. He blends deep frontend expertise (Angular, TypeScript, RxJS) with backend and DevOps skills (NestJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes) to deliver high-availability solutions used across large fleets of services. At Tinkoff he led a team to create a company-wide real-time monitoring and anomaly detection platform that replaced a commercial product and migrated dozens of services to Kubernetes without downtime. A proven mentor and recruiter, he has accelerated onboarding (4x) through documentation standards and promoted multiple interns to mid-level engineers. Based in Greater Vancouver, he combines hands-on implementation with process-level improvements across teams, often tackling both UX polish and low-level reliability in the same project.
