Top SchoolAlex Stanhope is a seasoned British technology consultant and founder with 12+ years of experience leading teams to build award-winning web and mobile products and deliver metric-driven digital strategies for clients including NHS, Sky Betting & Gaming and REED. He combines deep hands-on expertise in cloud-native architectures, DevOps and microservices with a proven record of scaling programmes and teams (5–50 people) and managing budgets up to £15m. A former CTO and Head of DevOps at large organisations such as DWP and Bridgeman Images, he’s skilled at turning legacy systems into cost-effective, monitored platforms and championing infrastructure-as-code and reliability engineering. Equally at home coding and mentoring, he still contributes to open-source projects while focusing on people-first delivery that produces measurable business outcomes. Notably, he won his first software commission at 15 and lectured in computer science by 21, reflecting an unusually early start that underpins his blend of technical depth and leadership.
