🤩
RockstarAlex Wendland is a software engineer and mathematician with 12 years of experience building cloud-native Python tooling and data platforms that speed up experimental feedback loops. Currently at Man Group after leading data teams at CryptoCompare, he combines a systems-level, scientific approach with hands-on DataOps — Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD and processing 100TB+ pipelines — to turn complex data into repeatable products. He blends academic rigor from a PhD and MMath with policy-facing project management from the UK Civil Service Fast Stream, enabling technical work that anticipates stakeholder needs.
