Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlexander Arakelyan is a senior software engineer and architect with over two decades of experience and 11 years in senior leadership roles, currently building backend data-processing systems at JPMorgan Chase using Java, Spring, and Apache Spark on AWS. He blends deep Java and enterprise integration expertise with modern front-end skills (TypeScript, React) and DevOps experience (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS), enabling end-to-end delivery of complex financial and commerce platforms. His career spans high-stakes domains—payments, investment banking, compliance, and government GIS—where he has led migrations, CI/CD automation, and performance-critical optimizations. Notable strengths include pragmatic architecture, messaging and batch processing (ZeroMQ, Kafka, JMS, Spark/EMR), and improving legacy systems through refactoring and test automation. Based in New Jersey, he is equally comfortable steering full-stack teams and rolling up his sleeves to implement core services and integration points. An atypical thread in his history is consistent cross-platform fluency—from OSGi and Adobe Flex-era UIs to cloud-native Spark pipelines—showing adaptability across generations of enterprise tech.
