Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlexander Bij is a Solutions Architect and Data Engineer with 14 years of experience delivering pragmatic, business-focused software and data solutions from the Netherlands. He combines deep Java and Spring expertise with big data tooling (Hadoop) and CI-driven delivery to consistently ship production-grade systems within sprint cadences. Comfortable across backend, frontend and data stacks, he pairs hands-on development (JEE, Spring, Hibernate, REST) with automated testing and deployment practices to reduce risk and accelerate value. A collaborative, positive team player, he excels at listening to stakeholders and translating needs into elegant technical designs. His background ranges from intranet applications to large-scale data engineering at firms like Xebia and GoDataDriven, reflecting an ability to move between feature delivery and architecting data platforms. Less obvious: he blends practical operations experience (Linux, Tomcat/Glassfish, Jenkins) with developer ergonomics to enable reliable one-click deployments.
