Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAlexander Birkner is a technical lead with 12 years of hands-on experience building and operating high-performance game server hosting platforms and cloud infrastructure. He has driven backend, API, and network engineering at scale—from OpenStack-based clouds and Cisco/Juniper networks to bespoke bare-metal solutions for multiplayer games. At Nitrado he built core hosting backends and enterprise tooling, and at GPORTAL he led the design of a B2B platform that helps studios scale multiplayer titles with cost-efficient, low-latency infrastructure. Equally comfortable in Golang, Python, Ruby on Rails and DevOps tooling, he blends software engineering with deep operational know-how to deliver reliable, production-grade systems. Based in Spenge, Germany, he combines formal electrical engineering training with a decade-plus of game-hosting expertise—an uncommon mix that informs both low-level network decisions and higher-level platform architecture. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic technical leadership that moves projects from prototype to resilient, customer-facing services.
