Top SchoolAlexander Ermolov is a Staff Research Engineer based in Amsterdam with 11 years of experience turning deep learning research into production-grade products, currently focused on agentic AI systems and ML for RF sensing at Qualcomm. He combines a strong academic foundation (PhD work in Information Technology, physics background from MSU) with hands-on product delivery—shipping mobile GAN-based photo personalization at Samsung and leading web and interactive projects as a technical lead at UNIT9. He has entrepreneurial roots from founding and scaling a web studio to a 12-person team, giving him uncommon product and operational instincts for a researcher. Comfortable across the stack, Alexander bridges research, front-end engineering (in-browser 3D, TypeScript) and embedded/edge ML, which helps him pragmatically move prototypes into deployable systems. Colleagues can expect a researcher who thinks like an engineer and an engineer who reads like a researcher.
