Top SchoolAlexander Espejo is a Java-focused software engineer with 11+ years building scalable microservices and production systems, currently contributing to Spring Boot-based platforms at Globant for clients like Disney. He blends strong backend craftsmanship (Java 8/11, Spring, REST, JPA) with DevOps practices—Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, monitoring tools and AWS—to keep services resilient and observable. Comfortable working in Scrum teams, he has repeatedly modernized legacy services and shipped new features across high-traffic projects such as Disney Parks mobile ordering and cruise line systems. Detail-oriented and proactive, he pairs solid project planning with hands-on debugging and test-driven work using JUnit and Mockito. Always learning, he’s expanding into Python, Kubernetes and deeper AWS capabilities while maintaining a practical focus on secure, maintainable architecture.
