The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands
Summary
👤
SeniorAlexander Henket is an expert in standards-driven healthcare messaging with over two decades of hands-on experience architecting and implementing EDI standards such as HL7 V2/V3/FHIR and EDIFACT. Based in The Hague, he blends deep protocol knowledge (MLLP, web services, FTP, SNA/LU) with practical system integration, data modelling and process analysis across projects in the Netherlands, UK, Belgium, France and Saudi Arabia. An active HL7 contributor and facilitator, he has helped shape and publish PA modelling work while delivering implementations, demos and proofs-of-concept for public- and private-sector partners. His career spans long-term roles in specialist interoperability organizations and freelance localization work, reflecting a rare mix of standards authorship, applied engineering and cross-cultural delivery. Notably, he treats standards as living languages—extending and adapting them to meet evolving clinical and technical needs.
