Top SchoolAlexander Katrompas is a Senior Machine Learning Research Scientist and educator with 11+ years building enterprise-grade AI, ML, and real-time prediction systems across startups and large companies. He combines executive leadership and hands-on engineering—from architecting scalable web and e-commerce platforms to developing transformers, time-series predictors, and biometric models—while advising enterprises through his consultancy, IQumulus®. As a Professor of Computer Science he trains the next generation of engineers, blending research (PhD-level work) with practical SDLC and cloud-native delivery on AWS. His background spans senior technical roles at Apple and NCSOFT and founding product-focused ventures, reflecting a rare mix of production BI/ML and R&D experience. Known for translating advanced research (reinforcement learning, attention mechanisms) into operational systems, he often bridges academic rigor and commercial impact. Based in Texas, he uniquely pairs deep technical breadth (TensorFlow, C/C++, Node.js) with executive product ownership and teaching.
