Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlexander Kondov is a Staff Software Engineer based in Sofia with 11 years of experience building front-end experiences, developer tools and distributed systems across startups and large media organisations. He blends hands-on engineering—React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node, Go, AWS, Kubernetes—and performance-minded UI work with technical leadership, having led enabler teams, design systems and migration from monoliths to microservices. At News UK and Financial Times he guided reusable libraries and publishing pipelines while mentoring engineers and shaping architecture; today he continues that mix of coding and strategy at SumUp. He’s also an author of two technical books, enjoys distilling knowledge into teachable artifacts, and brings founder-minded curiosity from multiple startup builds, including a realtime React game and a failed agri-startup that taught him product grit.
