Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlexander Lyabah is a full-stack developer and entrepreneurial founder with 12+ years building playful, education-focused web products and games. As Founder and CTO of CheckiO (Techstars Boston alum), he led development of CheckiO and Empire of Code—platforms that blend coding puzzles with game mechanics—and helped raise $750K while owning a broad AWS/Docker/Python/Django/React stack. Now at Occipital, he continues shipping full-stack systems and bringing game-like learning experiences to production-grade infrastructure. His background spans backend systems, real-time game logic (Phaser, Tornado, Twisted), and devops automation, reflecting a comfort from low-level servers to client-side interactions. Based in Ukraine, he pairs hands-on engineering with product intuition, often experimenting at the intersection of coding education and competitive gameplay.
