Alexander Matzen
Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark
Summary
🤩
RockstarAlexander Matzen is a pragmatic software engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience building full-stack systems, instrumenting developer tooling, and hardening application security. Currently at Systematic, he focuses on containerization, orchestration, and AuthN/AuthZ while completing an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering at DTU. He brings startup grit from co-owning an IT services company and product experience from a long-running part-time role on a retail platform, giving him a rare blend of operational, infrastructure, and product-minded perspectives. Comfortable collaborating across design, business, and engineering, he favors experimentation and practical projects to learn new tools quickly. Based in Copenhagen, he often bridges gaps between data scientists, engineers, and operators—evidenced by a thesis project with Novo Nordisk that targeted those exact handoffs.
