Summary
👤
SeniorAlexander Mihaylov is a frontend engineering leader and co-founder with over a decade of experience designing reliable, high-performance web systems and growing teams into independent, delivery-focused organizations. As Senior Engineering Manager at Scalefocus he oversees frontend strategy for 70+ engineers, driving architecture, developer experience, and enterprise delivery while launching academy and internship programs to build local talent. At BookLazy he applies the same engineering rigor to operations—building automation, integrations, and AI-driven tooling that cut manual work and supported 160% growth in year one. He blends hands-on system design with mentorship and process change, favoring clarity and repeatability over novelty to improve both developer and user outcomes. Based in Varna with a background spanning embedded, backend and frontend stacks, he’s comfortable translating complex business needs into pragmatic technical solutions that scale.
