Top SchoolAlexander Norton is a Senior Software Engineer with 13 years of experience building back-end systems and web applications, currently applying his skills at BAE Systems while pursuing a master's in data science/AI. He has a strong background in Laravel, Python, and AI, and has shipped features at organizations ranging from IBM and Saatva to Front Gate Tickets. Based in Washington, DC, he channels his love of running into community-focused projects like RunDMVRun and an events aggregator app, showcasing a knack for practical, user-facing tooling. Comfortable with both hands-on engineering and mentorship (early TA experience supporting 400+ students), he combines production-grade development with an emerging focus on data-driven models. Less obvious: he blends enterprise software experience with grassroots product building, making him effective at translating large-scale constraints into usable local services.
