Alexander Paramonov
Engineering Manager at Doctolib
Berlin, Germany
Summary
👤
SeniorAlexander Paramonov is an engineering manager with 13 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver web and mobile products, currently managing two teams at Doctolib in Berlin. He has a strong track record hiring and scaling engineering groups—previously building mobile, backend, and web teams at Capmo and leading multiple teams for construction software at Akelius. Hands-on early in his career as a Ruby/Rails developer and software architect, he blends technical depth with people leadership to drive end-to-end ownership and pragmatic delivery. He emphasizes integrating AI tools into engineering workflows to boost productivity and quality, making automation part of team culture rather than an afterthought. Colleagues describe him as a builder who prefers practical systems and clear ownership over processes for their own sake.
