Top SchoolAlexander Rühe is a Senior Data Engineer with 13 years of professional experience and seven years focused on designing, building, and operating high-performance, scalable data platforms both on-premises and in AWS. He has led technical teams and driven migrations of core processing workloads to cloud environments while delivering analytics workbenches and self-service capabilities for vehicle sensor, mobility, and retail WiFi-derived datasets. Comfortable across backend, infrastructure, and some frontend concerns, he blends hands-on engineering with stakeholder management, architecture documentation, mentoring, and technical interviewing. At Volkswagen Group he has been the technical lead for a data science platform migration and earlier built KPI-driven ETL and access-control features for automotive analytics. Curious and pragmatic, he prefers learning by doing and often tackles domain-specific data challenges that require balancing speed, security, and operational stability. Based in Goslar, Germany, he pairs a computer science education with a mathematics background to solve complex data problems end to end.
