Top SchoolAlexander Sjösten is a Data Engineer and Systems Developer with 11 years of experience bridging academic research and production systems, currently working at Svenska kraftnät in Sweden. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and has a strong background in language-based security and formal methods, having developed static analysis tools and security type systems for WebAssembly during a postdoc. Alexander’s work spans research, teaching, and hands-on engineering—from building verification tooling and Horn-clause encodings for z3 to consulting on systems development—bringing rigorous, security-first thinking to data and systems engineering. He combines deep theoretical expertise with practical experience in privacy-enhancing techniques and automated filtering for ad-blocking, a less obvious thread that reflects both applied research and product-minded problem solving.
