Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAlexander Stavonin is a Principal-level software engineer and author based in Singapore with 14+ years building distributed, secure systems across automotive, robotics, cloud, and IoT domains. He combines hands-on C++, Go, Python (and occasional Elixir) development with defining technical roadmaps, negotiating SOWs, and managing vendor relationships to deliver complex products like next-generation vehicle tracking and remote vehicle assistance. Comfortable across hardware, firmware, and backend stacks, he drives architecture, CI/CD, and observability improvements while also mentoring teams and tightening cross-team coordination. A regular public speaker and technical author, he brings rare experience translating safety-and-security-sensitive requirements into pragmatic, testable designs. Less obvious: he repeatedly moves between deep individual contributor work and high-level program ownership, personally shipping low-level components while steering multi-team roadmaps.
