Top SchoolAlexander Thiel is a founder and seasoned technology leader with 16 years of experience scaling startups from seed to Series B while blending hands-on engineering, product strategy, AI, and cybersecurity. As a fractional/interim CTO and former CTO of companies like Wunder Mobility and Atlas Metrics, he has repeatedly reorganized teams and processes to boost delivery speed, secure ISO27001 compliance, and enable rapid geographic and revenue expansion. He thrives in high-pressure turnarounds—unblocking roadmaps, stabilizing architectures, and delivering prototypes that convert to measurable ARR. Comfortable across cloud-native stacks (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, FaaS), TypeScript, Python, and reactive microservices, he bridges technical detail and business outcomes to accelerate growth. Active on the investment side as a member of an investment committee, he evaluates founders and tech risk with the eye of an operator and builder. Based in Berlin, he combines startup grit with systems-level thinking, often stepping in to do both the boardroom strategy and the late-night code.
