Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlexander Zaharakis is a Frontend Engineer with 11 years of experience building rich, scalable web interfaces for both mobile and desktop, currently leading frontend efforts at AWS Marketplace in Seattle. He has repeatedly driven large re-platforming initiatives and standardized UI architectures, combining pragmatic engineering leadership with hands-on delivery across micro frontends and strongly typed systems. At AWS he authored a patent underpinning CodeCatalyst’s micro frontend deployment model and built a systems test platform that improved deployment safety across a dozen teams. Previously he led UI direction and framework design at REA Group, shipping isomorphic React apps, continuous deployment pipelines, and company-wide UI testing strategies. Known for mentoring and hiring heavily, he’s turned around at-risk deliveries and built consensus between engineering and leadership to align KPIs with architecture. He blends deep frontend craftsmanship—from CSS frameworks to modern React architectures—with a pragmatic product focus and a track record of shipping measurable business outcomes.
