Top SchoolAlexander Zinchenko is a Machine Learning Engineer with nine years of experience and a 5+ year focus on building and scaling production recommendation and advertising models. At OZON.ru he engineered candidate sampling and calibration systems that lifted GMV by 2.5%, CTR by ~5%, and ad revenue by 6%, and has run collaborative filtering experiments on a 40M+ user / 50M+ item dataset using distributed PyTorch. Previously at MegaFon he delivered causal uplift models, PU-learning classifiers for commercial numbers, and improved churn prediction, blending domain adaptation and practical A/B testing. He holds a Master's in Mathematics and Computer Science from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University and combines rigorous academic training with hands-on product impact—often focusing on experimental design and metrics-driven deployment rather than purely research prototypes.
