Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlexandr Basan is a seasoned software engineer and technology leader with 15+ years in IT, blending more than a decade of management experience with deep hands-on engineering across cloud-native SaaS platforms. He has led product, DevOps and full-stack teams to build an award-winning self-service cloud commerce platform for Microsoft partners, owning vision, roadmap and commercial metrics like MRR/ARR and TCO. Comfortable at the intersection of business and technology, Alexandr combines solution architecture, agile delivery and vendor partnerships (Microsoft, Salesforce, Zuora, HPE) to drive growth and cost reduction. He’s equally at home shipping Ruby/Rails and Node/React-based systems as he is designing CI/CD, Kubernetes and serverless solutions, and he brings a customer-centric mindset from founding a Rails consultancy to scaling enterprise cloud products. An early adopter of DevOps practices in NZ’s cloud market, he thrives in fast-changing environments where technical choices directly impact product economics and team performance.
