Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlexandr Hacicheant is a Head of Reliability Engineering with 11 years of hands-on experience transforming monolithic PHP systems into resilient, high-performance microservices using Go, Kubernetes, and CDC patterns. He combines deep backend generalist expertise with leadership—hiring and scaling teams, adopting SRE practices, and improving delivery velocity and security through SAST/SCA integration. His work has cut resource consumption and query loads dramatically (e.g., MySQL queries from 5k to 1.5k/s and Redis replica CPU from ~70% to <5%) while introducing observability with Prometheus/Grafana to reduce detection time. Based in Limassol, Cyprus, he’s equally comfortable optimizing the hottest paths in code and shaping cross-functional processes that improve engineer work-life balance. An early advocate for Docker local dev and private OpenShift migration, he blends practical infrastructure moves with long-term reliability strategy.
