Top SchoolAlexandra Østermark is a DevOps Engineer with eight years of experience building reliable, cloud-native systems and systems-level backend features, particularly in Ruby and Rust. She excels at migrating large on-prem services to AWS, dockerizing legacy stacks, and provisioning infrastructure with Terraform to meet strict requirements like PCI DSS. Her toolkit spans Postgres, Docker, SQS, ECS, RDS, and GitHub Actions CI/CD, and she has hands-on experience optimizing high-load services for memory and scalability. Based in Aarhus, she brings both systems programming depth and practical operational discipline—maintaining observability, running on-call, and conducting audits—while favoring pragmatic changes (e.g., swapping Postgres queues for SQS) that materially improve reliability.
