Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlexandre Barbosa is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with roots in software development dating to 1987 and focused Java expertise since 1996, bringing deep experience building secure, test-driven, microservice and event-driven systems. He has repeatedly delivered high-throughput, resilient solutions across payments, banking, insurance and healthcare—recently architecting Java 17 Spring microservices, AWS serverless and Kafka-based event platforms. Comfortable across the stack, he combines hands-on coding (Java, Kotlin, React, PL/SQL), cloud-native deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Spinnaker) and performance tuning for large datasets and mission-critical workloads. Alexandre emphasizes engineering craftsmanship—SOLID, TDD/BDD, CI/CD and observability—and has implemented practical resilience patterns like exponential backoff and circuit breakers in production. Based in São Paulo, he pairs strong communication and mentoring skills with a pragmatic curiosity, often rolling his own integration or data-cleaning PoCs to validate designs before full-scale delivery.
