Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlexandre Parès is a Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer based in Geneva with 11 years of experience aligning cloud operations with business value across AWS, Azure, GCP and Oracle Cloud. He has built FinOps practices end-to-end—running maturity assessments, governance, budgeting, cost automation and carbon-footprint reporting—for large enterprises including Richemont and BNP Paribas, and now leads FinOps adoption at ELCA Cloud Services. A certified FinOps professional and educator (AWS Academy), he trains and mentors teams, organized FinOps webinar series, and has spoken at the FinOps Summit, reflecting a strong community presence. Alexandre blends technical rigor with financial accountability, driving savings through rightsizing, reservations and process change while maintaining stakeholder buy-in. An interesting detail: he keeps a cloud referential to map costs to business entities and integrates Cloud Carbon Footprint reporting into CSR workflows, showing a pragmatic focus on traceability and sustainability.
