Top SchoolAlexandros Couloumbis is an experienced open source developer and network architect with 16+ years building and maintaining large-scale community wireless networks and embedded OpenWrt deployments in Athens. He specializes in Linux kernel driver debugging, performance tuning, and rapid troubleshooting of embedded devices, balancing cost, security and reliability to deliver practical solutions. As co-creator and long-term operator of the OZOnet urban mesh (part of AWMN), he has hands-on expertise designing, deploying and expanding production wireless infrastructure across heterogeneous hardware. Comfortable both at the kernel level and in field deployments, he repeatedly turns complex bottlenecks into stable, optimized systems. He prefers contributing to community-driven and common-good initiatives rather than commercial companies, and often migrates legacy builds to maintainable open-source stacks.
