Top SchoolAlexandros Schillings is an Android consultant and software engineer with 14 years of experience building native mobile applications and developer tooling for networked systems. He has led Android efforts at major clients including Sky, The Telegraph, Hive/Centrica and multiple high-scale consumer apps, and currently consults for BigChange while running his own studio, Halcyon Byte. His work spans architecting multi-module Android codebases, offline-first and reconfigurable apps, and low-level features such as Bluetooth LE and iBeacon support—as reflected in contributions to a popular BLE Android library. With a PhD focus on collaborative routing in wireless sensor networks, he brings uncommon systems and networking depth to mobile engineering problems. Known for shipping widely used apps (Network Info II ~1M downloads; Wifi Key Recovery 3M+), he combines product-minded delivery with a cross-disciplinary approach to tough connectivity and event-driven challenges.
