Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAlexandru Ardelean is a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience in kernel and driver development, networking, and build systems across ARM, PowerPC and MIPS platforms. He has a proven track record upstreaming kernel patches and improving complex build ecosystems such as OpenWrt, Buildroot and Yocto, and maintains packages used widely by the OpenWrt community. At Analog Devices and Deviqon Labs he shipped low-level drivers and CI/build automation for heterogeneous hardware including Zynq and Arria10 boards, and recently specialized in adapting computer vision models to run on embedded AI accelerators. Beyond device bring-up and firmware, he routinely tackles cross-compilation challenges and Python C-extension packaging for constrained systems—work visible in popular repos like openwrt/openwrt and buildroot. Based in Cluj-Napoca with a Masters in Computer Science, he prefers remote work and blends deep kernel expertise with practical DevOps and CI improvements that speed product delivery.
