Top SchoolAlexandru Balan is an IT Project Manager and seasoned technical leader with 8+ years of experience orchestrating large-scale migrations, Linux/Windows server administration, and customer-facing change management for enterprise clients. He blends hands-on troubleshooting—from DB2/Oracle diagnostics and network traces to scripting and cronjobs—with coaching and mentoring roles that elevate team performance and knowledge sharing. Comfortable negotiating with stakeholders, he has led cloud migration efforts and release/incident management following ITIL practices across multinational environments. His background spans system administration, EDI/B2B platforms, and hardware support, giving him a rare cross-layer perspective from firmware/servers to application stacks. Outside work he brings discipline and empathy as a certified coach, personal trainer and nutritionist, a combination that fuels his team-first leadership and resilience under pressure. Based in Bucharest, he is also a Linux enthusiast and lifelong learner with formal training in negotiation from Harvard Business School Online.
