Top SchoolAlexey Babak is a Lead Software Developer and entrepreneur based in Moscow with over a decade of hands-on full‑stack experience dating back to 2004. He leads engineering at YPMN.ru while running Progress Systems, blending product leadership with day-to-day development and legacy modernization. Alexey has built complex web platforms—from auction systems and media streaming to trading monitors and CRMs—using PHP, Java, JS, and mobile React Native, and he routinely integrates external APIs and operational tooling. He’s comfortable rescuing and porting legacy systems (Zend→Symfony), optimizing performance, and turning stakeholder requirements into pragmatic architectures. Notably, his background spans both technical leadership and small-team delivery, having managed cross-functional teams and shipped over 40 web projects.
