Top SchoolAlexey Mironov is a Senior Software Engineer based in Barcelona with 7–9 years of experience building high-performance backend systems and microservices. He has driven impactful projects at Yandex, Bank Tochka, and Tabby—reducing latency and timeouts for flight search snippets, designing a trips aggregation service, and delivering a B2B marketplace with integrated electronic document flows and payments. Alexey is fluent in migrating and modernizing systems (Python→Go, memcached→YDB) and improving observability and release pipelines across teams. His work blends pragmatic engineering—optimizing p99s and resource usage—with product-focused features that boosted engagement and revenue, such as collaborative procurement tools and customer migration incentives. Though active on GitHub and contributing to open-source and personal projects, he also values close cross-functional collaboration with security and product teams to deliver secure, reliable services. Colleagues describe him as a hands-on engineer who pairs systems thinking with attention to user-facing outcomes.
