Top SchoolAlexey Tikhvinskiy is an independent software consultant with 15+ years of hands-on experience building low-level, embedded and cross-platform systems, specializing in C/C++ and Java. He has led architecture and Android efforts for payment, mobile and cross-platform projects — from JavaCard applets and NFC/EMV-enabled payment flows to Ruby/JavaScript-to-native marshalling in RhoMobile. Alexey thrives on technically exotic challenges (he once implemented a 17-bit math text-to-speech port on a Palm Tungsten) and prefers small, fast-moving teams and startups where unconventional engineering is possible. His background spans finance-grade market-data systems, real-time embedded devices, and high-throughput network services, with fluency in many languages and toolchains (Go, Objective-C, ARM assembler, Python, Ruby, JNI, NDK). Based in Saint Petersburg, he combines deep systems craftsmanship with practical product delivery for hard-to-solve problems.
