Top SchoolAlexi Chepura is a CTO and systems engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience building full-stack web, systems, and Rust-native solutions, currently leading Rust-first engineering at Powered By Rust. He blends deep Rust expertise (Tokio, Axum, Bevy, WASM, eBPF) with TypeScript/Node/React stacks and production Kubernetes deployments to deliver high-performance networked systems, games, and simulations. Alexi has shipped cross-platform Rust binaries (iOS, Android, ARM64, x86, WASM), designed actor-based multithreaded architectures, and implemented TCP/UDP/IPC proxies and custom protocols including WireGuard and SOCKS5. He’s exploring agentic workflows and industrial metaverse work—digital twins, simulation-driven neural nets, and embedded AI—leveraging dfdx/candle and vector DBs like Qdrant. An active open-source maintainer (Bevy Garage, Leptos/Axum projects) and former founder/CTO, he pairs an electrical engineering background in automated drives with software craft to bridge physical systems and immersive simulations.
