Top SchoolAlexjander Bacalso is a Full Stack Engineer with 11 years of experience building and operating scalable web and cloud communications platforms from Cebu, Philippines. Currently at Wavecell and previously at 8x8, he blends backend systems in Go, Node and Ruby on Rails with modern front-ends in React/Vue and a strong operational mindset around serverless (Lambda) and NoSQL (DynamoDB). He has held engineering and COO roles, so he pairs hands-on coding and architecture with team leadership, process design and delivery ownership. His background includes building high-throughput crawlers and integrations, productionizing web apps across diverse stacks (ColdFusion to Laravel) and shipping customer-facing comms and analytics products. Determined and pragmatic, he focuses on doing work that not only functions well but becomes an example others follow.
