Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAlfie Darko is a versatile software engineer with nine years' experience building consumer-facing web apps and blockchain projects for clients including Google, BBC, EDF and XCAD Network. He blends front-end craftsmanship (React, Next.js, Storybook) with back-end and infra work (Node, Scala, CI/CD, AWS/GCP/Azure) to ship polished, production-ready products and automated pipelines. Alfie has repeatedly taken nascent ideas to market—from a 2020 memecoin creator and a Solana NFT launch to rebuilding an Algorand marketplace—demonstrating a knack for fast, secure web3 integrations. Comfortable working on design systems, testing suites (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and performance-focused SSR, he’s equally at home in startup scrums and enterprise contracts. Based in London, he leads work at Waterwhip Labs and consults as a contractor (now at EDF), bringing a maker’s curiosity and a track record of turning experimental concepts into profitable digital experiences.
