Top SchoolAlfonso Benito is a Staff Engineer with 17 years of hands-on experience building and improving PHP/Symfony backends, microservices, and delivery processes, currently based in the Balearic Islands. He has led cross-functional teams and driven measurable improvements—such as an 80% reduction in production alerts and refined delivery metrics through automation—while promoting TDD, DDD, and clean architecture. Alfonso combines deep technical craft (scalable integrations, RabbitMQ, CI/CD and experiment platforms) with a strong coaching mindset, running knowledge-sharing forums and mentoring through pair programming. He also consults and trains teams on testing, deployment automation, and legacy modernization, often turning monoliths into resilient service architectures. Notably, he builds internal tools that empower non-technical stakeholders, reflecting a practical focus on product outcomes as well as code quality.
