Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlfonso Gómez-arzola is a Software Architect with 15 years of experience designing elegant, performant web applications and APIs from Chattanooga, TN. He blends front-end craftsmanship—progressive enhancement, information architecture, and an affinity for hand-crafted JavaScript—with deep Node.js back-end expertise. At Chromatic he shapes tooling, documents best practices, and provides hands-on leadership across decoupled front-ends and monolithic CMS projects. He favors readable, extensible code, strong documentation, and clear communication, and often contributes to team learning through code reviews and technical writing. Previously he ran a boutique studio building custom web apps and APIs for startups and agencies, which sharpened his product sensibility and consulting instincts. Trained in photography and music, he brings a creative, composition-focused perspective to UX and information design that informs technical decisions.
