Top SchoolAlfredo Del Fabro Neto is an engineering manager with six years of hands-on experience designing and scaling web platforms, currently leading engineering at Rocket.Chat. He built robust, asynchronous architectures—splitting a large psychometrics platform into separate services and integrating with Giunti Psychometrics via NestJS and RabbitMQ—to enable global expansion into 20+ countries. Alfredo has driven VOL’s growth to ~80k users and 1.4M+ tests per year using a Ruby on Rails core, Node.js services, Redis and AWS infrastructure, adding auto-scaling, load balancing and advanced background processing. Formerly an educator and systems analyst, he brings deep operational knowledge of Linux, networking and virtualization to his product-focused work. He pairs pragmatic leadership with a curiosity for distributed systems and real-time user experiences, evidenced by production use of Action Cable, Kinesis and messaging queues.
