Top SchoolAlfredo Menargues is an embedded Linux engineer and serial founder with over two decades designing high-performance software for connected devices, unattended payment kiosks and industrial IoT. He combines deep kernel- and driver-level expertise in C and Rust with application-level C++/Qt and Chromium-based web UIs, and builds custom Linux distributions (Buildroot/Yocto/Debian/OpenWrt) tuned for CPU- and memory-constrained systems. A specialist in unattended payments, he has led Redsys certification projects and integrated MDB, cctalk, id003 and other cash-handling peripherals for VISA/Mastercard/Amex-certified solutions. Alfredo architects cloud connectivity and fleet management using AWS IoT Core, MQTT and secure REST APIs while embedding EU Cyber Resilience Act practices—secure boot, signed OTA, SBOMs and proactive CVE management—into long-lifecycle devices. He has delivered confidential projects for major industrial and OEM clients (HP, Indra, BCN3D and others) and brings a rare blend of reverse-engineering chops, product leadership and investor-level strategic thinking. Based in Spain, he now focuses on scaling secure, resilient embedded ecosystems as an owner and private investor.
