Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlfredo Neto is a pragmatic Full Stack and Machine Learning engineer with eight years of experience building and optimizing production systems across Brazil and the USA. He has driven backend and infra improvements—migrating data to Neo4j, increasing DB performance, and tuning AWS autoscaling—while shipping front-end features and real-time collaboration tooling. At a YC-backed startup he trained and integrated LLMs into product pipelines, and earlier work boosted a fire-detection model’s accuracy by 40%, showing a knack for applied ML in operational contexts. Comfortable across Node.js, React, Python, NestJS, Elixir migrations and cloud platforms, he also leads technical choices and mentors teammates. He combines hands-on implementation with product-minded thinking, often surfacing performance bottlenecks and resolving them end-to-end. Based in Bahia, Brazil, he’s continually learning and seeks practical, impactful problems where ML and full-stack engineering intersect.
