Senior🎓
Top SchoolAli Afif is a Site Reliability Engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building and stabilizing cloud-native systems across startups and mid-size firms in Turkey. He combines a BSc in Computer Software Engineering with practical DevOps skills—Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD optimizations, and containerization—delivered across roles at Toranj, Dotin and Padvish. Notable outcomes include slashing CI cycle times by 80%, cutting manual infrastructure work through IaC, and improving deployment efficiency via reusable Helm charts. Comfortable troubleshooting at the OS and cluster level, he has solved complex issues from container failures to VM migrations and database high-availability setups. Curious and pragmatic, he pairs scripting and automation (Python bots, pipeline refactors) with a focus on reliability and measurable operational gains. Now based in Turkey, he is seeking opportunities to apply his SRE mindset to scale resilient systems and mentor teams in production best practices.
