Top SchoolAli Demirbas is a Senior Software Engineer based in Lisbon with six years of experience building full-stack web and mobile applications across cloud-native and DevOps environments. He brings hands-on expertise in TypeScript, Go, Java and Python, shipping features from design to production using both monolith and microservices architectures at startups and scale-ups like MoonPay and Trendyol. Comfortable across backend frameworks (Nest.js, Spring, Fiber) and mobile stacks (React Native, Flutter), he pairs pragmatic API and data-layer design (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra) with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. His background includes competitive research work at TÜBİTAK and early-stage product ownership—designing GraphQL APIs and realtime systems—showing a blend of research rigor and fast delivery. Notably, he moves fluidly between infrastructure concerns (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS/GCP) and polished front-ends, making him effective at uniting platform and product teams.
